Built in 1924 the Warner Theatre was a movie palace with a rooftop garden, basement ballroom, and restaurant. After renovations in 1992, the Warner affirmed once again that it is a destination, not only for revitalized downtown Washington, but also for national and international recording artists and the finest in theatrical, dance, and television presentations.
